Argyle Fine Art is a busy commercial gallery located in the heart of Halifax. It’s a place where people experience art- often for the first time. It’s a place where creativity is celebrated! Argyle Fine Art has evolved many times in it’s over 20 years of business but one thing that has been our constant, is our tireless commitment and passion for Atlantic Canadian art. We represent emerging to established artists and sell their work all over the world. We also facilitate workshops, and engage with our community by way of special events,fundraisers, public art installations and more. We believe art is for all to enjoy and we are always searching for new creative ways to make art accessible within our city and abroad. We work hard for our artists to develop new audiences and support them as they grow and we love meeting new clients and catching up with ones we’ve known for years. Your visit is always appreciated!
Our Services
PAYMENT PLANS & LEASE TO OWN
Argyle Fine Art offers a wide variety of services that include interest free payment plans for when you fall in love with an original work of art but hadn’t planned for it financially- we can help make that more possible! In addition, we can offer a lease to own options.
SHIPPING
We provide professionally packing and shipping both domestically and internationally for our clients. Did you know that NO tax is applied to original art when shipping outside of Canada ? Your tax savings will offset much of the cost of shipping.Many of our clients positively comment on the special care we take with packing and laugh at all the packing tape used- but it’s worth the extra effort to make sure you receive your new artwork safely.
We do re-use packing materials whenever possible- such as cardboard as well as bubblewrap. In fact, if you have extra bubble from picking up a work in person, you can always return it to the gallery if it is in a clean and usable condition.
ART CONSULTATIONS & INSTALLATIONS
We can also offer in-person and online art consultations. You can even try a work of art in your home for 24 hours, by special request. If you are looking for a more personalized work of art, we can help make that happen by working with our artists on a special commissioned piece just for you.We can do installations at your home or workplace and of course, we are always open to special projects or requests.
Although we don’t frame works at our gallery, we can assist in having a work framed with our business partners.
OTHER GREAT THINGS
We sell gift certificates, offer workshops and art talks for all ages and abilities,host concerts, art tours and other special events are always being offered at our gallery and off-site. We are also open to renting our space for your special occasion too. Get in touch for details.
